Can you cook?

The question here is simple "Can you cook?" i'm not talking about things from the freezer shoved in the microwave but cooking from fresh ingredients, and what is your fav thing to cook?

i can cook since i was in culinary arts 2 years and i might want to be a chef when i grow up. my fav though would be fresh sticky buns or funnel cake- i got a sweet tooth

I have not had funnel cake for a long time must admit it is scruptious lol although i too have a sweet tooth my fav thing to cook is a good old fashond beef stew with dumplings lol

Anyone that can read and follow directions can cook.

I don't enjoy doing it, so I usually say I can't. But that's not really true.

My favorite thing to make is dessert type things. If I don't eat the dough before I bake it...

I don't cook very often nowadays but when I do I throw everything I have into it lol. I would say my favoirte meal would be vegetarian lasagne after all I am a vegetarian. I like cooking a meal on a spare few hours on a sunday with nothing else better to do.

I can cook, and pretty much any desert is my fav thing to cook. I just choose not to cook so I wont cook as opposed to cant cook

bay scallops sauteed with onions and mushrooms in a chenin-blanc chevre sauce served with vegtable latkes or gnocchi in a basil-tarragon tomato sauce seem to indicate that I can cook fairly well.

I rarely ever follow recipes to the letter; more often I find a few that look interesting to use as inspiration and then sort of improvise from there.

Favorite thing to cook is probably stir-fried tofu with carrot and onion in a homemade spicy peanut sauce.

I can't really cook that well and I'm no good at doing it from scratch. I fail. lol. If you give me like boxed ingredients I might have a chance xD

I can cook fairly well. I come from a pretty big Italian family, all of whom had to learn to cook, so its not a huge surprise I learned.

^This is what I do a lot. Sometimes the first time I make something I'll follow the recipe, but after that I usually change it around. Its what I did with the chocolate chip cookies recipe my dad has used for as long as I've been alive.
