Have seen a lot of people do that --- the PSI of the tyre will be on the tyre itself along with 26 x 1.75 --- 26 x 2.2 which is the tyre size (last digits = tyre width)

is it a MTB -- usual pressure require approx 40-60PSI. if on a racing cycle can be as much as 140PSI
