'BOAT' always makes me smile as a name for a path! I usually try to plan my walks to avoid the biggest mud patches, no point another set of feet going through diggit it up, and then your boots being a ton heavier for the rest of the walk!

That's good then. Most of the paths round here allow horses too, and they really cut up the ground making it very muddy a lot of the year. A few can be almost impassable unless you're on a horse at times.
