Do you use safewords when you play?

Do you use safewords when you play? If so, which words do you like to use? What do they mean to you?

Ok a multipart question for todays blog entry as part of Butterfly's blogging thread

Do you use safewords?
Absolutely, yes. I am also a firm believer everyone should use safewords. You know your body best, you know when enough is enough. Without a safeword a partner could cause serious harm or damage to you both mentally and physically. So yes, absolutely. But I rarely have to use mine as Sir is very good at knowing when to stop.

If so, which words do you like to use?

Mine is penguin currently

What do they mean to you?
They are my favourite animal and I have loads of them in my room so I am unlikely to forget what the word is as I am probably inches away from one.

When you say Penguin, is that meant to stop play completely? or is that meant as more of a check in and evaluate?

Penguin is a complete stop. Usually I will say something earlier on if I'm getting uncomfortable.
