I dont know what it is, but I love soft cover books over hard cover books.

Well, I have problems with both, being an avid reader that has a book in her hands every seccond of the day. Hardcover books are nice to display, they have nice covers and I just like their feel. BUT, I always take the cover off so they dont get messed up and then the edges get all rought when our hands' oils get in the paper. I hate that. Softcovers are cheaper and very easy to take anywhere. BUT their covers frequiently bend and dont shut flat after reading. I hate that too. I love books of all descriptions. Hard backs are useful for long term use and softbacks for shorter term use. I also have a collection of some very old books with some nice and elaborate bindings.
