I loved the movie "Gandhi."

There was one part in the movie that changed my life forever!

Pause it, then skip to about 1 hr and 3 minutes and 58 seconds.

First, a train you should see. Then a tiny bit later, there should be a dialogue between a British soldier and Gandhi.

That part, is what changed my life forever.

I loved how Gandhi responded to him.

Serious question, was Gandhi a Christian?

No. And that's the unfortunate part.

But, he was more of a Christian than most back in his time and in todays time.

That isn't unfortunate that he wasn't Christian, I'm sure he didn't think so. He was Hindu and he was a great man.

Interestingly, the person that changed the course of Ghandi's life from lawyer to spiritual leader was the famed occult writer Helena Blavatsky. Many credit her with saving both Buddhism and Hinduism from colonial influence in India. She spent a lifetime convincing the people of India to reject Christianity for their own religions. She preached a unique message of tolerance that influenced many after her. Gandhi credited his chance meeting with her students, and later her, with changing the course of his life.

Just an interesting bit of history I enjoy
