I've done a little hacking of the chat before and I don't think this would be easy to implement. The chat only updates users every ~2 seconds (it seems shorter when you are in there) so the "typing" message would be rather inaccurate. Also, as it stands today, the chat is cramped. I don't think that there is a logical place to put the message. When I upgrade the forums they will be expanding (horizontally) so maybe then there will be a better setup. I'm not saying it won't ever be done but there are better uses of my time at the moment then hacking in something that has so many built-in problems.

Thats very common happens in most IM programs. The only hard thing about that is the chat witch is not owned nor coded by depp would have to be modded to a extent that might be out of depps expertise in the matter. But if he knows what hes doing im sure he could do that. But as good as the idea is i have little faith it will happen as depp has lots on his plate already (im guessing).

I suppose in itself there is no harm in writing about religion. Still, my personal opinion would be to leave your beliefs out of this kind of site. To be blunt, there are many things on here which I believe might be offensive to your faith, and if that is the case, and you still want to expose yourself to it, then it's your prerogative. I don't necessarily approve but again, it's not my call. You must live your life as you see fit and allow others to do the same.

Granted, however, that as this is your blog, you could write anything you want about your own personal beliefs. I can talk to you about the Flying Spaghetti Monster and His Noodly Appendage in the same fashion. But the site is not for exposition of faith; it is for asking for dares, giving dares to others, answering and asking truth queries, reading and writing stories and involving one's self in the BDSM lifestyle.

I personnally don't think you needed to elaborate as to the reason behind your two threads. The threads were self-explananatory, to my opinion.

I think, at least in this post, you are doing quite well. Interesting has posted some great advice. Reading is one of the best things you can do to improve your writing.

Perhaps. Then again, perhaps you simply need to apply yourself a little more. It doesn't depend entirely on your education.

You learn grammar, punctuation, conjugation and spelling by reading what others write, understanding it and appropriating it. You seem able to understand it like anyone; you just need to make it your own.

If you really want to improve these skills, read a lot; then write about what you have read, or use what you have read as part of your writing.

Nothing good ever come easy. I didn't start out as a good writer, I became one. You can too. It's just a matter of willpower.
