In class today, we were talking about how young adults come out of the closet more than adolescents do. This got me thinking about a conversation I had with my sister. She said that she would be very disappointed and angry if she found out that I was a lesbian. My dad and grandma were there also. My family is very religious and don't believe that two girls or two guys should love each other.

I was watching television today and they were talking about Obama trying to get rid of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." What is the problem with people knowing that someone in the military is gay? I don't understand! The same goes with gay marriages. What's the problem with that?

I was listening to some Christmas songs today and one came up called "Where are you Christmas?" by Faith Hill. This got me thinking about having my first christmas without my grandma. I really miss her. We always went to her house every Christmas morning after church and had lunch together. I don't know what we are going to do this Christmas now.

I will also be graduating college in a few days. It's a super busy time getting everything done and looking for a job and a place...
