Sleep enough?

Ok so this is a very simple dare as well as a hard dare.

The only things you need are a die, a clock, a bed, and yourself.

So I was thinking about the normal human need of sleep. Well I know I have issues with sleeping and how random it can be. So here is a simple dare anyone can try at any time. It can also take different forms as it can easily be manipulated in many ways.

Everyone should always get 8 hours of sleep. So your goal is to get as close to 8 hours of sleep as possible. However getting it exactly on 8 hours is more than impossible without an alarm and even with one, it's not exact. So to account for human error and mechanical error, you will be allowed a buffer time. This is determined by a simple dice roll. Only one roll.

The number of your roll is the amount of minutes before and after the 8 hours you must wake up in. So if you roll a 4 you must wake up within 7 hours and 56 minutes - 8 hours and 4 minutes.

Seems simple right. Well here's the fun part. No alarms allowed at all. You must somehow make yourself sleep for 8 hours or whatever time frame you have rolled.

If you wake up before or after the allotted time, you fail. Though I won't give you a punishment, you can think of one for yourself. I'm sure there is plenty of things you can think of to punish yourself for not getting enough sleep.

And because it is so simple and yet so hard, you can add variations to this however you please.
