haha Callie. u probably know already what kind of music I like.
I mostly listen to metal. especially black metal, progrssive metal and death metal, like. Burzum, darkthrone, as you drown, slayer, opeth, in mourning, my dying bride, behemoth, kreator, dark funeral, in flames, at the gates, man I could go on for hours, but yeah I have to agree with Wrathchild. my all time favorite band is IRON MAIDEN!! they are awesome. still continue to amaze me to this day. ZZ TOP also kicks ass. also a great great band I also like some ambient, trance and game OST

Maggy's a bit of a funk fan. I'm addicted to solo bassists (not as in bassists that can do a good solo in the middle of a song, I mean bassists that stand alone) so, naturally, Victor Wooten and Les Claypool are both idols of mine.
I love Jamiroquai. Jay kay's a total sleeze, but, in all honesty, that's what I love in a man~ I'm also a huge fan of Liszt. I think his work pretty much topped pianists all over the shop. When it comes to rock and metal, I'm more I don't really like it unless there's some form of melody in the singer's voice. Screaming's all fine and dandy, but not if it's all you can do... I thought Thrice pulled it off and, like most of the people of my generation, I loved System Of A Down, back when they were a little less... Guh. I also have a love for what was once known as Neo-Romantics. Wet Wet Wet, Crowded House. Trance music, I love pendulum, and who can forget the classic Binary Finary? Non-serious music... I love Tim Minchin. I think he's a lyrical genius... Arrogant Worms always make me smile, but Tim's just... "I wake up in the morning at eleven forty-seven and I can't beleave I have to face the horror of another fucking day." Who else could pull it off? My own style of music is funk, though. My tunes on the bass are mostly inspired by the Chillis and Les Claypool. I'm currently trying to figure out one or two pieces by the legendary Victor Wooten; clearly my own music will never reach that god-like level.
