Shaving
When you all shave yourself, what do you do to prevent razor burn? And what do you use to keep it nice and smooth?

Make sure your razor is sharp, has new blades. Try not applying too much pressure or going too many times over the same area...

I do all of these things. I've used an electric razor to trim them down and then a brand gillete fusion razor with shaving cream and I still get horrible razor burn everytime.
