I won't be doing anything this valentines day, mainly because I don't have a gf.

I don't know if I will sit back being happy that I am single, but it usually does't effect me that I don't have a gf.

Ho hum, single awareness day again!

It's fun watching the loved up people waste money on just one day of commercialised love. I'd rather show my love over period of time and take any future gf out when she's not expecting it.

People can show their love over a period of time and still can make the day special. Not everything is a waste of money, it's fun and it's nice to celebrate and you always remember it. I don't think that's a waste.

It's the commercialisation of the day that I don't agree with.

It puts peer pressure on people to do something lovely for their partner.

Doing something lovely for your partner, I commend people for it. They should do stuff lovely for their partner when they feel like doing it. But they shouldn't have to be reminded to do it by a particular date on the calendar.

Well, thats your opinion about it, and you shouldn't be afraid to state your opinions in life.

But just remember, other people will have different opinions about it, which may be totally different than yours.
