GCSE Results Day
I'm not sure if this is England only, or whether it's throughout the UK. Either way, it was GCSE results day today. I'm not going to ask you to post your results, but feel free to do so if you wish. I just wanted to ask you all a few questions...
1. Are you happy with your results? 2. Did you get what you hoped for/predicted? 3. What's next? College? Apprenticeship? Work? If you're already past the GCSE stage, I have a couple of questions for you too... 1. Were you happy with your results? 2. What did you go on to do afterwards? Discuss |

Sorry to be a bit of a stick-in-the-mud, but would you mind explaining to me what GCSE is?

My SAT results were great and I'm in college now
I also don't see how grades has anything to do with fighting so the fact that you are going to be successful in fighting, even with low grades, isn't really that amazing to me. Sorry.

Basically it's graduation in America. Dunno if you get awards or whatever for it but in England EVERYTHING, well nearly everything is exam orientated. In some cases you have to have a GCSE in English to be able to operate a till/checkout in the nearest supermarket...

Yeah they will. It obviously won't be the most important thing but if you've failed them and a uni needs to decide between you and another student, that might just be the thing they reject you on.
