Getting Payback?

Whether it's on here with dares/games or maybe with friends in real life. Do you like to get payback on people?

If so, how do you like to do it?

I like to think that I'm above that these days...

... I'm not, but I like to think it anyway.

I might play "tit-for-tat" a little, just for fun, but if someone does something that really bothers me, I don't try to get revenge, because they are not worth the trouble. Plus, I am a firm believer in Karma, the Rule of Three, Law of Increasing Returns, whatever you want to call it: "You harvest what you sow, and in greater abundance."

I am the type of person who will take revenge.

Roommate made a lot of noise and woke me up early so I made a lot of noise and kept him up late.

I prefer to murder them in my thoughts and not do anything because it just makes my anxiety go bonkers and somehow I end up feeling horrible instead. I've learned from experience lol.

Revenge is good. I don't act on it though; I don't wish people ill (mostly) and I really believe that they will get their share in life...

I'm with Masterwants, my revenge or payback is a slow simmering thing. I think it through and through taking my time and savoring every thought I come up with. when I finally release it is a subtle thing often times, most of the time, the victim does not know it is was me that arranged the mishap/embarrassing moment. and that is ok with me as I enjoyed all the diabolical thoughts I had coming up with my plan.

It depends form situation to situation, but in the end I always have my revenge this way or another. Whether it's painful, disgracing or insanely humiliating. But if someone really goes over the edge, Damnatio Memoriae is what awaits that person.
