Do you have a rectal thermometer? If so: clean it very well. Then prepare a bowl of ice water and a bowl of very hot water. Didn't have the thermometer but did use the 2 bowls and some sounding. The temperature changes were quite fun, wishing I had a thermometer so I could really play along. The wooden spoon with hot sauce was a nice finishing touch.
