Reporting.

Before I say this, I am going to admit I've done this before, like ALL the time, it seems now I've seen like four people do it on one thread it must get annoying.
Why don't, instead of leaving a message on a thread to say it's in the wrong section, or breaking another rule, just report it.
Instead of clogging the thread itself. I usually have to make a comment, because the people who blatantly ignore the rules annoy me. But I always report too, I think it's be simpler to just report from now on and not clog up the thread, with four or five people telling them it's in the wrong section.

I myself feel that there is nothing wrong with complaint posts. The report button is scary-I never know when to use it. I always think I'm gonna get in trouble when I use it.

I have used the report button two times. Once a 15 year old put an actual phone number in. I won't say what the other was.

I was very surprised the mods addressed both issues in less than five minutes. So I wouldn't hesitate to use it.

I must have reported hundreds of threads and never got in trouble for any of them. If I think something is against the rules but I'm not sure I will usually ask in the chat first then report it and say that I think it's against the rules. The mods can then look into it and either action it or leave it alone.

I never post on threads saying that something is against the rules since it is going off topic to the topic of the thread and that is bad. I just report it.

I think it's always best to report. Whether you are unsure or not. Because if you're seeing something that seems like it would be against the rules it probably is. And reporting doesn't put someone on probation straight away, it'll be sent to the mods I assume? And they'll look it over, so they'll know whether it's against the rules or not, therefore it's best to report than to leave it.

I report lots of threads exspecialy the ones were peoe asking for dares post if the dare section that pissis me of so much!

If we're serious, reports help a lot so if you ever see something you aren't sure about it report it anyway and then we can decide whether or not any action should be taken.

I think one problem is that people may report things that they don't agree with. Like if someone says that rock music sucks, someone who likes rock music would report them just because they disagree.
