Uploading pictures on an iPod or iPad

It doesn't appear to be possible and I would like to either request instructions on how to do it or if this feature isn't existant can it be created? Other sites like Facebook and twitter have this feature and I currently don't have a computer so I cant upload the pictures I want and it's kinda annoying.

Can you please sort something out to help me
