Effective Hand Restraints

This is a simple yet very effective self-bondage that can be used by itself or in conjunction with other dares to add difficulty.

For this dare you will need;
-4 8inch plastic zipties (Also known as Cable ties)*
-1 pair of socks
-Scissors or knife**

For reference purposes; I will refer to the square ratcheting end of the ziptie as the head, and the opposite as the tail.

Important: Before attempting this dare, have your means of escape accessible (knife/scissors). Keep in mind, you will have greatly reduced dexterity, so be safe.

1) Attach two zipties together by inserting the tail of the first one into the head of the second until you hear a few clicks and they are locked together. Do the same with the other two. You should now have two, double-long zipties.
2) Repeat step 1, except attach the head and tail of each individual double-long tie, to make two separate loops.
3) Place a sock over each hand and extend it as far up your arm as it will go, so it is not bunched up anywhere. You should still have limited usage of your hands; kind of like a sock puppet.
4) Slip one tie loop over each hand so it is wrapped around the wrist. Do not tighten yet.
5a) Put one of your hands in a fist such that there is no sock bunched in your hand. Pull the sock up your arm using your other hand and teeth so it is very tight against your knuckles. Now tighten the ziptie on that wrist using your teeth; it should be tight enough that it won't move or allow the sock to loosen, but you should not make it so tight that it cuts off circulation.
5b) Using solely your teeth, repeat step 5a with your other hand. At this point, you should not be able to use or open either hand. If you can, you have done this bondage wrong.

To remove the restraints, you need to cut the zipties (see post #5), always cut where the blade is facing away from your hand to prevent injury; this is easier said than done, you will probably have to get creative, so have fun and be safe. Sounds easy and effective, do u have any dares involving restrained hands in mind?

Well... that is really the beauty of this bondage, it can make even the simplest task very difficult and sometimes impossible.

For example, you cannot use zippers, sewn buttons, doorknobs (handles are much easier), keys, etc. It makes normal tasks like using the phone, taking off your clothes, eating and drinking in a civilized manner (great for those into puppy play), even leaving the room/house, seem impossible. Therefore, it traps you in whatever situation you are in, until you are able to free yourself (or the darer says you can); it deters people from stopping dares half way (extremely annoying!), mostly because they are helpless to do so.

Because there are so many possibilities, I did not have a specific dare in mind while making it, but it pairs well with many dares like ones in the following categories;
-Humiliation
-Wedgies
-Clothing/Crossdressing
-Bondage
-AB/DL
-Punishments
-And so many more
It is not really about the category as much as the dare it is paired with. If you want a dare though, I will be happy to PM you one, given you provide your likes and limits.

Well... that is really the beauty of this bondage, it can make even the simplest task very difficult and sometimes impossible.

For example, you cannot use

.... knives or scissors!

You probably could, but with your feet, so make sure you're barefoot (difficult to open a pair of scissors with your teeth) also be aware that zipties are tough plastic, they might be easy to cut when you're using a freely flexible hand, but not if both hands are balled up in 'boxing gloves'. So be damn careful about cutting yourself badly.

I'd recommend using some cord or string instead between the 2 ties around your wrists, they're easier to saw through.

First of all, that is correct, you should be super careful when removing the ties so not to cut yourself.

I have experimented many times with this, so I have found that a good way to remove the ties is to use a pair of scissors (a good pair, not dull, cheap scissors). It is not to hard to get the scissors open or cut off the ties, it takes a little practice, but it is very safe.

I have used the following method as a safe reliable means of escape.
-Pick up the scissors with your fists
-Place them on a table or counter top
-Press on one handle of the scissors against the surface with one fist, then using the other, push them open
-Move the open scissor to the edge of the surface so that the cutting edges are hanging off the edge
-Press down on the handles of the scissors to keep them stationary
-Insert one sharp edge of the scissor between your wrist and tie (Where the blade is always facing away from your body)
-Next use a sort of sawing motion against the tie while pulling to give it tension

This should free you. I do not recommend using a kitchen knife or razor blade, but a small pocket knife (already extended before binding your hands) can be used with the same method as above in a relatively safe manner. There are some items which would work perfectly like a rope-cutter knife, or a knife with a gut-hook, it is nearly impossible to cut yourself with one of these, but still be careful.
As always, be safe, and try out a few methods beforehand, or have someone come over at a certain time, just in case.
