Just want to take the opportunity to congratulate jaro for creating a nice and living tool and thread. At start i was a bit afraid it would not fly for reason of complexity but its is wonderfull to see this really takes of.

Just a thought,... Publish some graph with statistics?

Hey! You finally got the correct name. Doesn't really matter, they will still click your name and get your pm dares list. But I will change your name in the player list as well.

Me neither. THat's not nice but not so strange either. The selection is totally random. So you could get selected every day, or never for a while. It's like roulette. That you got red each and every time, doesn't mean the next time must be black.

But there are ways of improving the chances, for instance by rolling a new random number if somebody is selected who has previously selected already. Not sure if I should do that, but I'll look into it.

Thank you! It sure is more successful then I expected it to become. Still, the random selection might be too random. Some players get dares every day, others (like myself) not for over a week.

I might look into improving the program.

I will post some statistics, but there's not much to say about it.

Likewise for those who feel they are getting too many?

I'm trying to figure out if I should change some things in the program. If few people respond, I'll assume it's mostly good and I won't change anything.

As requested: some statistics:
game started on November 8, 2016

46 players currently in the game

326 dares given since the start

number of dares given each day is very inconsistent, some days as few as 4, others as many as 33

Up until now, the program was configured to give a chance of 1 dare every 3 days. But this is still a chance. Some people have reported to not have received a dare as long as a week ago.

So now, I made a small change to double this chance: so 1 dare every 1,5 days. But this still is a chance. It doesn't guarantee that you will get a dare every 1,5 days.

It also highly depends on how active the game is. If you receive a dare through this program, please do your best to send out your own dare to the others as soon as you can. Only with a high, consistent, dare-giving activity can other people have a good chance of getting regular dares!

Also, feel free to promote The RandomDarer in your signature!

And, as always: if you want to leave, please tell me!

The RandomDarer activity has been stalling a bit lately.

This could simply mean that the persons recieving a dare have not been online for a bit.

But in order to keep things going I will send out dares through this program myself every once in a while.
