I've heard before about the entire 'Girls get more dares than boys'

I heard it but then I recently, recently being 2 minutes ago, scrolled down the TorD page noting that the majority of the male dare requests had zero replies.
Yes ZERO.

I mean I can't really say much as I don't dare them, but that's only because I can only think of dares that I myself have done or would do, me being a girl.
But I get so many replies, and so do loads of other females, yet you guys are getting none.
I am going to try and think up some dare for guys, even though I suck at it it.

Meanwhile,
Why don't you dare males?
And, try today, if you see a males dare request, give them a dare.

I would have to agree with you Betty Boop on this one. I mean I have gotten some awesome dares from some people to do when my parents are going to be gone at the end of May, but honestly speaking I can probably get done with most of them in one to two days, and my parents will be gone for a week. I'm still looking for more but it's kind of hard not only because my thread keeps getting pushed down by other but I'm a male. Some of the males, have less time than that and they don't get anything so they miss out on a really good opportunity. Almost every person who is asking for dares, I usually give them the same two dares I give everyone, granted that it does not go past their limits, but at least they get to do something y'know. So I would agree with Betty, look for the guys who are still looking for dares in the time that they have and try to come up with something. I have to say thank you though, Betty Boop for bringing up this point and for at least trying to come up with something for the males. Kudos to you!

I do give dares out to male and females. I don't really mind the gender. I don't dare people too often becuase it is hard for me to come up with dares.

You also have to remember, you don't know how many males are getting dares sent by PM.

As for the favoritism part, earlier on GD, like many months ago, I was just interseted in givng out dares to those who are under 18. But for several months now, I don't mind giving dares out to any age.

Well said lokelake, it is true that we don't know how many people getdares by pm. I totally forgot about that. And I do agree it is difficult sometimes to come up with dares, I hear you there. That's why I stay to a constant. If I had more time to come up with dares I could come up with more but I digress.

I often look out for the males with no replies and often give dares, especially if they are over 18.
Bit more hesitant if they are under 18 or don't specify.

First time i have ever tried to give a dare to a male today, read this thread and thought i should. I never give out dares to anyone i find it quite difficult, but especially for males which is maybe why they don't get many dares from females?

In response to my previous comment I would like to say that it is true that you don't know how many get pm's but there is the possibility that they haven't been given any either. For the concept of finding it hard to come up with things, I think that the mind can really come up with some good concepts if the person who is asking for the dares posts their likes and limits. That really helps one construct an interesting dare(s). Naked40 posted on my thread and I think that me listing those really helped him come up with some really difficult, but I am looking forward to them, dares. So if a lot of males have not stated their likes and dislikes that may be a reason why they don't get as many responses.

This is a sweeping generalization, but here are the things I've noticed.

1. Girls like getting dares more than giving dares.
2. A lot of girls prefers truths, or s/M.
3. Guys are more into the whole 'dare' thing.
4. There are more guys than girls.
5. Guys mostly gives dares to girls.

Therefore there's not enough people to give guys dares.

It doesn't make you gay to dare a guy. I dare girls all the time, that doesn't make me a lesbian.
I only dare girls because it's easier for me to do that, because I'm not good at giving dares and it 's easier to just relate the dares to myself.

After discussing a little with my friends, I've come to the conclusion that its not exactly because you're straight. It's more of... because you're straight, you don't get anything out of daring a guy. Psychologically speaking, say you've just dared a girl to walk out into their front yard naked, in broad daylight, you would be much more satisfied than say daring a guy to do the same.

As BettyBoop mentioned, some people find it easier to dare their own gender because it's easier for them to relate to. This actually also makes the dare safer.

Or maybe it's just that girls likes to dare girls (because girls like to be able to relate things to themselves) and guys like to dare girls (because guys like to think about girls doing fun stuff

) ...

Lil' Angel makes a good point and sorry I'm commenting so much on this post but anyways, even though I'm bi, I see myself more attracted to girls and even though I give dares to both genders, it does feel a little more exciting giving a girl a dare than a guy. If you're a straight guy or more attracted to girls, you don't see as much benefit daring a guy to do something because it may put an image into your head that you didn't necessarily want to see. However to defend girls on that, they don't dare girls to put that image into their head that's not the point. It's just that obviously they know all the sensations that the female body and mind can feel therefore they can push the envelope a little further than some less experienced guys, such as myself, can comprehend. I would really like to say that I am enjoying this post saying that some people have made some good points that I never though of before, with the exception of doomed_soul89 who said you have to be gay to dare a guy.
