James and I finally leave Hot Topic. James texted his brother to let him know that we're coming downstairs. We take the esclator back down, and see his brother sitting by the water fountain flirting with some girl.

Cathryn: Looks like Paul Blart has a girlfriend.

James: Cathryn, be nice.

Cathryn: Yes,sir. I know.

We're now off the esclator. Seth sees us, & walks over to us.

James: (takes the jersey out of the bag, & hands it to Seth) Here.

James: Agian, I'm really sorry for taking it

Seth: It's cool. Just remember to ask before taking my stuff.

James: Alright, I'm sorry.

Seth: (being sarcastic) Cute skirt Thumbelina. Get that at Baby's R' Us? (laughs at his joke)

Cathryn: (he knows that I hate being called that,and pushed it teasing me about my hight) So who's your girlfriend?

James: (giving me a warning) CAT!

Seth: She's not my girlfriend, yet. Anyways that's none of your business.

Cathryn: Sure about never? No offence, but she's way out of you league. If you even have one...(James inturrupts me by covering my mouth)

James: We will be leaving now. Come on Cat, lets go. (he pushes me infront, to make me start walking the other way, away from Seth)

Seth: See ya home.

James: K. (we're now far from Seth so he uncovers my mouth) I thought told you to be nice.

Cathryn: I know. I'm sorry. He started it, and was practically asking for it.

James: You're right. Knowing him, I think he was.

Cathryn: So what should we do now?

James: Hmmmm. How about we got to the beach?

Cathryn: Okay. Sounds good to me.

James: Alrighty. (stands me next to the escalator) I need to go back upstairs to use the rest room real fast. Do you need go?

James: Okay. After we're done, lets meet back infront of Hot Topic. Okay?
Cathryn: Okay.

James and I went to the restrooms upstairs, to take care of our business before we left. The girls is on the right end of the mall, and the boys on the left end. I suprisingly beat James, waiting for him infront of Hot Topic. I thought it was kind of odd, when usually he's the one always waiting for me.

Zacarie: Well hello again.

Cathryn: Hey. Should'nt you be at work?

Zacarie: (joking) Okay mom.Yes, I just got off my break. So where's your prince charming?

Cathryn: He's using the rest room.

Zacarie: Oh okay. Well I gotta get back to work, If you need anything, I'll be at the cashier as always.

Cathryn: Okay.

Zacarie went back to work, and I was alone once again. Or at least I thought I was. I feel someone grabb my left wrist and turn me around to face them. I was shocked and suprised to see who it was.

Justin: Hey, Cathryn I told you, you couldn't ignore me forever.

Cathryn: Let me go. (I try to pull away to make him let me go, but he holds me tighter)

Justin: (ignoring my comand) Logan told me you ran away from home. So are you here alone?

Cathryn: No Dumbass. James is here, and Zacarie is right in there (points to Hot Topic with my free hand). Now let me go, or I'll scream.

Justin: Oh, I don't think so. (shows me his pocket knife hding in his hand) Unless if you want to get hurt, and I really don't want to have to do that. Even though you already have hurt me.

Cathryn: You're the one that actually hurt me phisicly and emotionly first. So I think wer're even.

Justin: (gives me a little evil laugh) I would think of all people, you should know that I don't play to get even at all. I get what I want. (pulls me closer to him) And I want you.

Cathryn: (I'm struggling to get free) Well sometimes you can't always get what you want.

Justin: But I always do. Now. I'm giving you a second chance. We can do this the easy way or hard way. The hard way seems to always be more fun. (laughs at his joke)

My heart was pounding at what was happening. I knew that I never wanted to go any where with him. I hated him. So I decided to make a risk to get a way from him whether it meant making it out alive or not. I didn't care, I just wanted to get far away from him as possible.

Cathryn: Let me go Jack-ass, and go to hell!

With that I stomped on his foot, and kick his shin with all the strength I had. Justin let go of me, hesitating in pain. I run from him while I have the chance. I start running down the stairs. I accidently miss a step, and fall. As I was tumbling down the stairs, the railing catches me. I try to get back up, but feel a sharp burning pain in my right knee. I look at my knee, and is bright red from grtting a carpet burn. I feel soneone behinde me pulling my hair, forcing me up to my feet.

Justin: Fine will do this your way. The hard way it is. Hmmmm. I wonder if your brother might reward me for bringing you back to him. Maybe I''l get him to earn my trust back.

Cathryn: Let me go. (I spit in Justin's face, and he slaps me accros my face) Ow!

Justin: Stupid little bitch. (Pins me against the railing of the stairs. Puts his pocket knife next to the right side of my hip) Listen to me. You better not cause any more attention than you already have. ais that understood? (I shake my knod my head yes) Good. Now all I want to do is just talk to you. Okay?

Cathryn: Okay. (I'm scared out of my minde. I never had any kind of knife pulled on me before. Trying to stay strong and not cry, I was frozen in fear.) Can you please put that away? I...I promise not to run from you anymore.

Justin: Fine. Better keep your promise. (he puts the knife away,back in his pocket)

Cathryn: What is it that you want?

Justin: I already told you. I want you. (puts his body closer to mine) I've missed you. And I'm sorry for blackmailing you. Okay. I'm really sorry. I was going through a tough time then, and never meant to put my anger out on you. I still love you. (he leans in to kiss me, but move my head away to make him miss.)

Cathryn: No. I can't. You know I'm in love with James!

Justin: (chuckles at my comment) Does it look like I give a rats-ass who you're in love with. I will tell you what to do, and you will do it. You're going to break up with James. I don't give a fuck how, but you better do it. And you better not tell anyone about our little conversation. I really don't wanna have to hurt you. Okay? (he pulls my hair, forcing me to meet his face, and kisses me)

(I was disgusted of what Justin was doing to me. I bit down on his tounge, so he would stop kissing me)

Cathryn: NO! STOP! I hate you! I will never love you again! I HATE YOU!!!

Justin: Son of a bitch! (slaps me across the face again for biting him)

Cathryn: Owww! (I can't help but start to shed tears.)

My minde was racing with thoughts. I wanted to be with James again. I was starting to worry that I might not ever get to see him again. I would honestly rather be back home with Jeremy, instead of being here in danger with Justin. Wondering what I should do. I was wanting to scream for help, but was terrifired to find out what Justin would do to me if I tried. I could already tell that I made him more angery than ever.

Justin: Fine. If I can't have you, then know one can.

Cathryn: W...what do you mean?

Justin: (grabbs my arms, and starts lifting me from the ground abit) Hmmmm. What a tradgic it would be if you "accidentlly" fell over the railings. No one is here around us to wittness what happened. I would get away easy.

Cathryn: (feeling him push me more over the railing,I fight back for him to stop) NO! Justin, Please! Don't do this! PLEASE. I'm sorry.

Justin: Awwww. It's too late for an apology. (sits me on the railing) One push back and off ya go. Don't worry heres one last kiss good bye. (kisses me again. I did't fight him this time, knowing that if I did, I would fall over the railing.)

Zacarie: What the hell is going?!?

Zacarie scared both me and Justin, to where it made me jump back, and fall over the railing. Justin quickly grabbed my right arm before I could fall all the way down to the main floor. I start panicking and screaming for help.

Cathryn: (screaming on the top of my lungs) AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! HELP ME! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Justin: Shit! I got you. (puts my hand on the railing to hold onto.he looks into my eyes and whispers) I'm really sorry. I have to go. (he runs off,leaving me dangling above ground,)

Cathryn:HELP!!! ZAC!!!

Zacarie: (comes to grab both of my arms, to try and pull me up) Cathryn!!! Don't let go!

Cathryn: WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH WOULD I LET GO!?! HELP ME!!!

Zacarie: (looks behinde and see people staring and walking by by) Don't just stare at us you idiots! We could use some help here.

A guy walking under me looks up, and sees me dangling in mid air. He runs up the staris to where we're at, and helps Zacarie, by pulling me up. I looked up at him. He had short blond hair, blue eyes. Wearing a white shirt,and black pants. He awkwardly greeted us, and said his nname is Xavier. He seemed kind of fimilar like I knew him, but couldn't come to mind where I seen him before. I was too concetrated on whether I was going to make it out a live or not. Zacarie starts to pull me up, but makes me slip instead.

Cathryn: (freaking out,because I'm starting to slip). I believe I can fly. I believe I can fly. I believe I can fly... I really wish I could fly. Oh, why couln't I be born with wings?! Really could be useful at this moment.

Xavier: No! No. Don't do that yet. We have to pull her at the same time.

Zacarie: I'am sorry. Cathryn, just calm down.

James: Cathryn!!! (runs through the crowd of people, and over to me. Grabs left arm to help keep me from falling)

Cathryn: James!!! Help Me!

James: I got you. Don't worry. Seth is on his way to help. Just don't let go.

Cathryn: I think we're all pretty much on the same page here! Stupid gravity!!! Can you please pull me up now?!? I would love to be standing on ground,intead of air!

Xavier: Okay. Since there's three of us now, lets start trying to pull her up. We pull her up at the same time on three.

Cathryn: (to myself) Great there's math? Why can't it just be 1? I'm dangling in mid air peoples. I need help!

Each time Xavier counted to three, they lifted me over the railing pulling me in.
Seth finally comes to help. Since him and Xavier were the strongetst out of Zacarie and James, they were able to pull me back up in five seconds. I was finally pulled back over the railing, able to touch ground. James and Zacarie both hug me at the same time, glad that I'm okay.

I finally had time to finish part 3 of chapter 16. I'm really sorry for the long wait. I just been busy with college, burried in homework 24/7 of the day. I made a promise. Doesn't matter how long it takes me, I promise to finish this story.

James: (kisses me) Thank God you're okay. What happened? You had me worried sick when I couldn't find you.

Cathryn: I'm really sorry. It was Justin. But it was an accident, me falling over.

Zacarie: Why were you and Justin kissing?

James: You kissed Justin?

Cathryn: (I start to panick a little, not wanting to hurt James) No... I mean yes. I mean he kissed me. I didn't want to kiss him, but he forced me too. I'm really sorry. James, I love you, and you only.

James: It's okay. I believe you. It's not you're fault. I love you too. (kisses me)

Xavier: Is everything okay now?

Cathryn: Yes. Thank you for helping me.

Xavier: No problem. Well, I gotta go now. Stay safe.

Cathryn: K. Thanks. I will.

(Xavier leaves, and Seth comes over to check me for injuries)

Seth: You're knee is bleeding.

Cathryn: It's not bleeding that bad. I't just a carpet burn. (Seth touches my left wrist to make sure it's not broken, and then my left.) Ow.

Seth: (touches it again) Does that hurt?

Cathryn: Ow. Yes, it hurts. Can you please stop touching it!?

Seth: Sorry.

James: Her wrist has already been broken since last night.

Seth: Oh. Ok. Well, us pulling on your wrist probably made it worse. Come with me to the First Aid Clinic, and I can fix that up for ya.

Cathryn: Okay.

Zacarie: Well, I gotta get back to work. Can you promise me that you'll stay out of trouble?

Cathryn: I'll try my best.

James: I might stop by the pet store, just to get a leash for her.

Zacarie: (laughs at James' joke) Good idea. Or you could put a GPS in her.

Cathryn: Haha, very funny.

Zacarie: (kisses my cheek) Please, don't get inro anymore trouble.

Cathryn: Yes sir, I know.

Zacarie: Call me or text me if you need anything. Okay?

Zacarie left, going back to work. James and I follow Seth downstairs to the First Aid Clinic. Wew walk through the security door, back into the mall. We're now finally inside the clinic. It's just basically a tiny room with first aid supplies. Has a skin, two chairs, a large cooler, and a twin fold out bed layin folded up in the corner. James sits down in one of the chairs. Seth picks me up and sits me ontop of the counter top, next to the sink,and cabbinets above me filled with the supplies.He opens the cabinet door behind my head, and accidently wacks me in the back of my head with it.

Cathryn: Ow! (I put my right hand over my head, where it was hit, snd rubbed it so it woldn't get bruised)

James: Heads up? (trying to hide his laugh from his joke)

Cathryn: Seriously. You should call this the First Aid Shack.

Seth: Sorry. Need an ice pack for that.

Cathryn: (i give Seth an evil look,knowing that was sarcasem) No thanks, I think I'm fine.

Seth: Okay. (he takes out an ice pack from the cooler, an gives it to me) Need one anyways to put on your wrist.

Cathryn: Fine. (i take the ice pack and place it on my left wrist)

Seth then takes out a wash cloth, hydrogen prioxide, and some bandages. He goes over to the sink, turns on th cold water, and wets the wash cloth.

Seth:This might sting a bit.

Cathryn: (being sarcastic) Great. More pain is just what I need. (he places the wash cloth ontop of the carpet burn, and cleans my knee. I imideatly felt a burn as if my knee was on fire) Oooow! More like a lot a bit. (i try to move Seth's hand off my knee, but he grabbs me with his other hand to stop me)

Seth: I know it hurts. I'm really sorry, but it has to stay on. I need to clean the germs off so it wont get infected. Just relax. I'm very sorry, but the next part might hurt even worse than this. (he takes the wash cloth off for a while, and soakes it in hydrogen prioxide. Then places it beck ontop of my carpet burn, on my knee)

Cathryn: (trying to hold in my screams) Please take it off, it really hurts.

Seth: I'm almost done. Need to let it soak in. (he finally takes the wash cloth off, and wrapps it up in a bandage. Later on today, you need to clean it off with water, and put antibiotic oinment on it.

Cathryn: Okay.

Seth then puts the hydrogen prioxide up, and takes out pain relief cream. He takes the ice pack away from me, and unwrapped the bandage that Bardon has put on it last night.

Seth: (hads me the pain relief cream.) Rub this on your wrist. It will help it to heal.

Cathryn: Okay. (take the cream from Seth)

I look down at my wrist, and is now only a little swollen. It has a light red color all around it. With purple, green, blue, and some black streeks aound it.I rub the pain relief cream all around my wrist I'm now done, so I hand it back to Seth, and he puts it back into the cabinet. He takes out bluee elastic wrap, and another bandage. He first wrapps the bandage, and then wrapps the elastic bandage around it. .

Seth: Okay. You're ready to go. (he lifts me off the countertop, back onto the ground.

Cathryn: Thanks.

Seth: No problem. Just doing my job.

James: (takes hold of my right hand) Ready to go babe?

Cathryn: Yup.

James: K.

Seth: Where ya kids headed?

James: Going to the beach, and then back home. Cat will be staing over with us tonight.

Seth: Oh. Okay. See ya later.

James: See ya.

James and I walk back out to the front of the mall, leaving Seth behind the security doors. We enter Sears, heading back outside to James' car. Before we were about to walk out the slide doors, I accidently run into Xavier, causing him to dropp his bags.

Cathryn: I'm so sorry.

Xavier: It's fine. (looks up at me) Oh. Well hello again.Cathryn, right?

Cathryn: Yes. I didn't break anything of yours, did I?

Xavier: No. It's fine. Nothing breakable in these bags.

Cathryn: Oh okay. Do you need any help?

Xavier: Sure. Thanks. (hands me to big bags of clothes)

Cathryn: (carries the bag in my right hand) No problem. It's the least I could do. You helped save my life. (thinking that his car was near James I start to walk the opposit way, following James)

Xavier: Hey, Your not stealing my clothes, are ya?

Cathryn: (confused at his question, I turn around, and see him walking the opposite direction of us) Oh. I'm really sorry. I thought that youmight have been parked near us.

Xavier: (chuckles) It's okay. I'm parked on the other side of you. All the way down on the right hand side. Just follow me.

Cathryn: Okay.

James: (walks back to the front of the mall.) I will wait at the front for ya.

Cathryn: Okay. I will be right back.

James: Alright.

Xavier and I have been walking for about 10 minutes now just to get to his car. The baggs were heavy, and kind of hard for me to carry with just one hand, so it was a bit hars for me to keep up.

Xavier: Wer're almost there. So is that guy waiting for you your boyfriend?

Cathryn: Yes. His name is James.

Xavier: Oh ok. How old are yall?

Cathryn: I'm 17, an he is 16.

Xavier: Oh. Ok. Cool. I'm 21.

We are now finally at Xavier's car. It is a black 2010 GMC Yukon. He puts down some of his bags to get his car keys out from his front left pocket. He has his car keys and unlocks the trunk. I put help put his bags in his car, laying behind the back seat. We're now done loading his car.

Cathryn: Anything else I can help with.

Xavier: Nah. That's about it. Thank you.

Cathryn: You're welcome.

Xavier: Can I give you a ride back up to the front?

Cathryn: Yeah, sure. Thanks.

Xavier: No problem.

He opens the back door for me to sit behind the drivers seat. As I was starting to get in, I see someone laying across the seat,sitting up. It was Logan. My heart started to pund once again in fear. I was confused at what was happening.

Logan: Hey Cathryn.

Cathryn: Second thought, I will walk back. Or run back. (i try to run to go back to James, but Xavier grabbs my waist)

Xavier: I don't think so. Get in the car.

Cathryn: No! Let me go. JAMES HELP!!! (Xavier covers my mouth with his hand) MMMMMPH!!!

Xavier: Shut up, and get in the car! Now!!

Logan grabbs my legs, and they carry me, forcing my inside the car. I'm sitting in th middle seat, between Xavier and Logan.

Logan: Don't worry Cathryn, I'll go get James. I'll be right back.

Xavier: Okay. Hurry back.

Logan opens the door behind the passenger's seat to get out. He leaves us, shutting the door behind him. He walks to the front of the mall, and sees James standing there, waiting for me.

Logan: Hey James. Still job hunting?

James: (suprised to see Logan) Logan? What are you doing here? I mean, um. Not anymore, I'm about done for the day.

Logan: Oh ok. You should try applying to the job called Lying to Your Best Friend. I'm pretty sure that you will be good at that one.

James: (confused) What do you mean?

Logan: You remember Xavier, right?

James: I guess.

Logan: Evidently he's still the only true best friend I have.( grabbs James' by his left arm, pulling him) You're coming with me.

James: What the fuck dude?!? Let me go!

Logan: Shut up! If you want to be with you're precious girlfriend, I suggest that you come with me.

With that James didn't say a single word. He just kept following Logan, to Xavier's car.

[Back in Xavier's car]

Xavier had handcuffed my hands together in the front, duct tape across my mouth, and my seat bealt fascened. He was now in the driver's seat, ready to go, waiting for Logan to return. The car door behind the drivers seat opens. Logan is finally back with James.

James: (sees me bound) Logan please, just let her go. Take me, and then let her go.

Logan: I'm sorry, but I can't do that. Jeremy has requested to have you both. Now get in the car.(pushes James down to sit down next to me.)

James: Cat, Baby. (He trys to take off the duct tape, but Logan stopps him by grabbing his wrist)

Logan: Don't touch her. (He handcuffs James' wrist tight together behind his back,and buckles him in his seat.)

James: Fuck you!

Logan: (chuckles at James' comment) Maybe later.

Logan shuts the door on James' side, and walks around the car. He opens the door on my side, and sits next to me, behind the passengers seats. He shuts the door, and Xavier locks them.
Xavier starts the car, pulls out of the parking lot, and starts driving towards my house.

I was frightened at what Jeremy is going to do to me when I get back home. I really didn't want to go back. I also felt terrible putting James in this situation. I never meant for any of this to happen. I wanted to have a normal life again. Wishing that my mom was still here. If she was still here us, non of this would be happening. I can't help but not to think about the images of what Jeremy is going to do to both me and James. I really don't want James to get hurt because of me. I try to hold back the tears of horror that was running through my mind.

Logan: (sees a tear trickle down my cheek, and wipes it off with his humb) Awwww. What's wrong Cat?

Cathryn: Mmmph! (not wanting Logan to touch me, I scoot over closer to James and lay my head on his shoulder)

Logan: What was that? (grabs my hair, pulling me back towards him) Rude bitch! (grabbs hold of my neck putting my face close to his)

James: Don't fuckin call her that! And let her go!

Logan: (chuckles) You can't tell me what to do anymore. Now that I found you two, and taking her bak to Jeremy, I'm allowed to do whatever I want to do to her. I could kiss her. (kisses my cheek) Or...(starts taking the duct tape off of me) I could make her suck me.

James: Don't you fuckin dare!

Logan: Whatch me.

(After I heard those words, I start freaking out, trying to move away from him. But he just grabs on harder to my neck, choking me.)

James: (he starts to get very angy at Logan) You Fuckin BASTERD!!! Let her go! (he struggles, trying to see if he could break the handcuffs)

Logan: I should have put duct tape on your mouth. (takes the duct tape off my mouth, covers my mouth with his free hand, and then puts the duct tape over James' mouth) There. That should shut you up.

James: (starts trying to get out of his bonds, and makes the car shake a bit) Mmmph!!!!!

Xavier: Will you kids settle the fuck down? Break anything in this car, and I'll fuck your ass up. (James gives up and sits back in his seat)

Logan:Sorry. (talking to me) If you dare scream, or talk rude to me or Xavier, I'll shut you up with my dick. Got that? (I knodd my head yes and he lets me go.)

Cathryn: Can you please unlock my handcuffs? My wrist is hurting.

Logan: Sorry, but I'm not that stupid.

Cathryn: (mummbles to myself) Sure about that?

Logan: What did you just say?

Cathryn: (scared hoping he didn't hear me) N...n,,,nothing. I didn't say anything.

Logan: Whatever. Anyways. I don't have the keys. Jeremy has them.

Cathryn: Oh. Well I wasn't trying to out smart you or anything. My wrist is broken, so it really does hurt.

Logan: Oh. I'm sorry, but your gonna have to wait until you get home. Okay?

Cathryn: Okay.

We've been driving for some time now. As Logan was staring out at the window, and Xavier being too focused on the road. I lift my arms, and take the duct tape off James, and throw it down on the floor board. James didn't speak a word, for he didn't want to get himself or me into anymore trouble than we already were in.I lay my head down on his shoulder, and he lays his head ontop of mine.
