She was not a happy bunny getting silver was she! It was her own mistake tha cost her gold though, so only herself to blame.

She didn't try to blame anyone else, though - that was all internet doing. She went straight into an interview after and said she was disappointed at herself, not the silver. If she'd done her best and lost, it'd have been fine. Instead she practiced the same vaults for three years straight performing them better than anyone else in the world and landing them with a massive accuracy rate, then had one freak fall the one time it really mattered. I'd be pissed, too.

I'm not saying she deserved the gold - the sport is incredibly harsh and that's just the way it runs; if you don't perform on the day then you don't win - but it is incredibly disappointing for someone who is the best in their area of expertise by far to mess up the one time it really matters (I'm not disappointed in her; I feel bad for her.)

And no, I don't care if this is a fiction story thread: I will talk anyone to death on gymnastics xD

But as a pretend semblence of on-topic, have a St. Krystal's gymnastic leotard design:
