Apart from the fact that others/childs may indeed see you.. this is a terrible idea, throwing random things on a road. For example: A motorcycle could lose grip due to it and cause a major accident.

I would recommend deleting the text of the original post while you still can.

The distraction to drivers of seeing things fall could be dangerous, and in some jurisdictions it is flat out illegal to throw stuff off an overpass.
