Resolving "Wrong Place" Threads

I've seen this suggested before but I feel it's a good idea to try and push forward.

Recently, I've noticed an increase in "Dare Me" threads in "Dare", and "Ask me things" in "Truth". Obviously, these should go in "Truth or Dare Online".

Now, sure, we can report them every time, but it must become tedious? The site's been going for several years now and this is a recurring issue/problem that comes up because people don't read.

So I suggest a slight section rename. Instead of "Truth or Dare Online", maybe "getDared/Asked" might work better. It gives a better idea of what it's for without even reading the section's little intro summary.

That, or somehow change the Board's Index page so it's made more clear where posts should go. In every other forum I visit, there's rarely an issue with posting in the right places. So, whilst I'm not knocking getDare at all, I think this could be an easily-solved issue with just a few tweaks here and there.

Why not make it

TRUTH "post your truth questions here"
DARE "post dares for others here"
getDared "request truths or dares here"

with the tordOnline/getDared section moved up from the bottom of tangents, where it's nowhere near as obvious as the first two sections?

I would be very amenable to these renames but am skeptical that they will have much of an impact.

Still, uhhhh. Anything that makes it only 15+ wrong section threads a day instead of 20+ would be welcome by me.

(don't call me on those exact numbers, but, man. It is a lot. basically all I do as staff is move threads (and delete penis pictures))

I think that making the TorD online section (or whatever new name) less accessible would increase the number of misplaced threads. Most of the threads in the wrong places are posted somewhere else and should be in the TorD online section. If it is harder to find then fewer people will see it and they will be more likely to post somewhere more obvious.

I'll add notices for new users, like I did in the Punishments section, into the Dare section.

I believe that when a member joins, before they may post, they have to take a little quiz.

example:

Asking for dares [Insert dropdown list here]

Or something along those lines.

This does sound like a good idea. Would take a bit of work to set up though

Descriptions of sections "Truth", "Dare". "TORD Online" don't tell what should user post: dares or requests.
I suggest updating desriptions of sections without renaming sections.
