Chat bug?

Someone is ignoring me (for no reason, but I won't say any names..)
and whenever I go in the chat, I get a pop up saying "so and so is ignoring your messages" which cannot be closed! It won't let me type anything or PM and I have to refresh a million times before it *might* let me close it.
Halp!

Edit: Also, how do you un-ignore someone in the chat? :\

i think i might know who this is *Cough Not saying out of decensy and respect Cough*

anyhow, i dont think you can, all i imagine you can do is un-ignore them while in chat, then ignore them again out of it

You can't un ignore someone because depp has yet to fix the chat.

And before anyone suggests it, no /unignore username doesnt work.

ah well, ive never had to ignore anyone... Everyones so lovely on GetDare... anyway, i would ask depp he will know and thats probs as much advice you gonna get off anyone else too sadly

Yeah.. hopefully he'll see this lol. There was an old board about this from last year where he said he would fix it "in a couple of days"............

guess not.
I get that he's really busy though and this probably isn't at the top of his list..

hmm i think we had this issue a while ago... DEPPy fix it ^_^ or hempy or chain.. w/e lol
I will see if happens to just anyone... or just if your special... and the chat hates you lol.

Presently, Depp is the only one who can modify the chat; chain and I are only admins in the forum. I'll make sure he sees this next time he comes in.

ye tell him... theres no UN-ignor button... AND pop-ups are not happening every time... just a few select users. wierd how that wasn't spotted earlier :S maybe im missing something... doesn't bother me as i can not be ignored lol... but i can ignor people and not be able to un-ignor them

Fork could ye possibly post a Screen shot of the pop-up you get please? That would be a great help.

Alright, next time I go in when she's there, I will. Should I take out the name, or it doesn't really matter?
I'm not sure if she gets the pop up but I know that she can't unignore me either. the /unignore username thing doesn't work.

This time, it closed the first time but I had to hit "ok" twice. Other times, no matter how many times I hit "ok" or the X, it will not close. I refresh and try again, etc..

I was able somehow to lift both fork and CrazedUp's mutual ignores and they are talking together as we speak *celebrate*

Still I dunno if the problem is general so I'll leave the thread open in case some other people have similar problems in the chat...

I thought I had fixed this a while back. I could have sworn it. I have a vague memory of editing the code.

I'm going to let this go on for a little bit longer because I am going to have to upgrade the chat here very soon. After the upgrade if it is still happening I'll go back in and try to make sense of the code again. Sorry to sort of leave you guys hanging on this one. If you need to unignore someone at the moment just PM me and I will happily reverse the ignore.
