Like usual, I am thinking logically about this answer but I'm going to have to go with what the crowd is saying now and saying that there should be no kiss between the two. It is kind of funny that as the story goes on, most of the qualities that you are giving Sean is exactly like me. My favorite color is blue, I am an only child, and I am still a virgin. Are you stalking me?!

I think kristy needs a guardian for the story so I think her and Sean should kiss and form a bond right here.
