I'm participating in it this year! It will be my 5th year. I only finished 1 of those years tho. I plan on completing this year.

we should come up with dares that go along with it!!

I did it last year, but didn't complete 50,000 in time

I have to say, it's incredibly easy to cheat with this. I already had my plotline completely planned before it had started (don't tell anyone)

I've started but I'm not sure I'll finish due to other projects.
My story's about a teacher and a parrot who repeatedly challenge each other to Heraculean quests. One of the ends up writing a song. The other ends up dead on a bus stop.

I'm all for competitions but I thought the point is more to be writing something, not to see who can write the best one?
