What are your views on the recent speech made by Tiger Woods today.

He has said sorry for what he has done, He had complained about reports of being beaten by his wife, Say he has been in therapy this year and will start therapy again tomorrow. He is'nt ruling out a return to golf this year. Has said his actions have been irresponsible and selfish and that there has never been domestic violence in his family.

Let the debate BEGIN!!!

I accept his apology. Now since he apologized, he shouldn't do that same stuff again. But if he does, and apologies for it, I will accept it again. Please excuse me, but I will put a bible quote in here, please no one get mad at me for doing it.

If he wasn't famous, nobody would care.

He is famous. I don't care.

He's a human and we all make mistakes, or do things that others don't agree with. Get over it.

Meh. He's human. We all have stupid fuck ups, but to be honest i didn't see the big deal with what he did that he had to say sorry for.

Whats its to do with anyone? Its his Private life. For what possible reason does he need to applogise to the public hes done nothing to them other than waste precious space in news papers and tv slots on the news etc.

Its all just a very clever plan on his behalf to stay in the spotlight and get attention.

My thoughts...

- I had no idea Tiger Woods was half Asian.
- He sucks at public speaking. I mean, come on, it sounds like he didn't even practice.
- And then... Why the heck are they postponing the Ellen show for this?! I want Ellen...

Public speaking is not his strong suit. It is not my strong suit. In my opinion I don't think its fair to say that. Unless he doesn't mind. I wouldn't mind if you say that to me though, I would agree with you, lol.

Public speaking is not his strong suit??? How many companies does he speak for (once he gets back you know he will pop up again). I do agree that I forgive him, but his apology wasn't sincere. Somebody wrote it. For the first half, he looked down at his speech. He hadn't rehearse it all. He read a statement, showed little emotion, only let in a few people, and didn't answer any questions. Let's see what happens between now and his return and once he finally does, but he is no different than any other person of his stature, Me first, people who give me money second, everyone else third.

Edit: I should mention that I forgive him because what do he do to me that hurt me? I could have given a rats ass, but he deserves his fans (that he in truth he doesn't care for) an apology
