Dice Dare Excel Spreadsheet
(Firstly, could a mod please relocate this to wherever suitable)
So I designed an excel sheet based on Doublas_b's 'Walk Through Woods Dice Dare', which rolls for a random dice number, then assigns a number of points. The user can then pick clothes which they wish to wear and this sheet quickly totals the points value for selected clothes. It is still quite temperamental, I'm only 15, so it needs some improvements. I know one main fault, so I hope I can upload it and you guys can test it and get back to me with some feedback. The fault is quite hard to explain but obvious by use of the sheet, so please try it out, and I'll look up a fix in the mean time. Thanks.

Wow
For being so young you sure have some knowledge in computer science. If you look up some basic visualBasic codes, like what is included in the math library then i think that you can make it work. There are many functions that you are trying to use that doesn't seem to exist. I am maybe a CompSci minor, but I'm also drunk right now, so with a little research I think you can have this working. Good luck and I wish you the best on working the tweaks out of this project.

Actually right next to the rolled number cell if you insert "=INT((6-1+ 1)*RAND())+1" (without the quotes of course) it will give you a number between 1 and 6 everytime. If you want a number between any other numbers use this sudo code... =INT((high-low+1)*RAND())+low ...where high=your largest value to be rolled and low=your lowest value to be rolled. I hope this helps... Good luck with your easy coding and your should learn C++ it's fun.

The problem I have is this: The random number function 're rolls' the number every time any other cell is edited. I did see (on the web page where I got the function I used) a solution to this problem, how to stop it happening, so I'll try and remember where that was. Thanks for your feedback guys!

New Version
I have made a slightly newer version, this one has instructions.
Also, it requires more work! What you need to do is to use the 'Number Roller' cell, THEN enter that number into the 'Rolled Number' cell. This means that this one will stay the same while you make your clothing selections. After you've copied it across you can ignore the 'Number Roller' cell. I have also tweaked the clothing selection. This way you can wear more than one of a piece of clothing (in case I add types of clothing that need this), and it will work it out for you. This is much simpler than the way I had it before. I will try and make a dare version if this one works well for you guys.
