What do the colors mean
I know red is bad
but blue and green. whats the difference?
maybe make a pinned topic stating what they all mean?

Okay, the green dots are good. Those are given by other members who have enough rep points & posts so that when they add rep to you it awards you some points (the number of points is variable on the amount of points & postcount from the giver as well.)

The blue/grey ones mean that a member gave positive or negative rep but their own amount of points and/or posts are unsufficient to affect yours. So they can still add a comment (if it's negative they have to put a comment) but it does not affect your reputation points.

I meant by blue/grey the same color actually. Hmm... let's call them blue-ish grey... or grey-ish blue...

They are the only 3 rep colors... at least that I know of

Reputation, good or bad, is not always calculated into your displayed total. Users with a high reputation however have a good chance of moving you up or down more often. To prevent abuse users have to wait a period of time before their reputation counts again on a particular user. The reputation formula is being tweaked constantly to prevent abuse. This is done by me playing with nipples of the magic fairies who guard the ...Ohhh shi..... I mean, by me changing the weight of different factors including post count, registration date, your current reputation, and other secret variables.

I sometime thinks this reputation thing is just a way for you to mess with our heasds and make us look stupid trying to figure out how the whole system works.

I wonder what happenes when you get 42 rep points.
