July 2018 Writing Competition

I have decided that I want to start a writing competition. Each month, there will be a new topic and to enter, you need to follow the rules/guidelines and post your entry in the thread.

After the deadline, we will create a poll and vote on the winner. The winner will receive entry into the Dungeon.

Theme: Strugglin'

What to write:
Write a blog or piece of creative writing about a struggle you have faced or are currently facing. The struggle could be something physical or mental. It could be related to kink or not. It can be about you using kink to overcome struggles, or maybe about how kink things don't always go as planned.

Guidelines:

Post your entry in the blog section of getDare
Post a link to your entry in this thread to officially enter.
Be creative! People are going to vote for whichever is best, and entertaining and creative ideas will most likely get the most votes.
Entries must be over 300 words to qualify (exception to this would be a poem which needs to be 10 lines min).

Deadline: July 31, 2018

I was actually just talking to Matt about this struggle a while ago and how frustrating it was. It’s nice that this came up or I doubt I would have had the courage to post anything like this.

But here is my entry - Eevee’s never ending war!

But a query: for competition purposes does it all have to be entered at one time, or can it be by instalments, as it were, added bit by bit during the course of the month?

As long as it is complete by the end of the month. But did you know you can save a draft blog and can continue to work on it later before it is visible to the public? That might be another option.

Thanks. And no I didn't know I could save a draft blog. Definitely worth it. Not quite sure how though!

UPDATE Just checked - I see now! This is the first time I've used a blog so am newbie on this!
