Would it be cool to have our own radio show on itunes?

I got this idea when my best friend linked me to the broadcast she does for her own online community. I thought it would be neat to use itunes once a week to broadcast a 1-2 hour radio show where I would play awesome music, take song requests from people in chat, talk to/interview/co-host with other members on skype, and answer random questions.

I just thought this would be a fun, interactive thing to do.

So would this be something you'd be interested in and would listen to?
Would it be better to do a live broadcast or make it a weekly podcast?
What day of the week should it happen, or should it be different each week?
Around what time (Eastern) would be best? (Keeping in mind I work from 8-4 Monday through Friday)
Any ideas for the show?

>.< It'd be awesome. You could talk about all sorts of topics, including things that have to do with the site (truth or dare, S/m, whatever), and off-topic things like unicorns or something. ._.

Probably the weekends or the middle of the week would be the best time, people listening to iTunes while they study for school or whatever.

Podcasts would probably be better, and easier due to everyone's time differences. But it sounds like it could be a really fun idea.

I would also be up for recording a couple of mixes of some alternative/dubstep/drum and bass/techno stuff if people would be up for that?

I could do some talky bits too if you want. It might not be every week, but yeah I'd be really up for doing some mixes cos I haven't done any for ages!

How would I set up a podcast thing or what? I'm kinda ignorant on this subject :P

and yeah, I reckon podcasts are a great idea. People download them and its fun

I think this sounds like a wonderful idea! Let me know if I can help in any way. I would love to see this happen. I'm a member of a small private community that does this and it's a blast to have live shows. I think a night during the week would work best. Maybe have a podcast option at some point for the peeps who can't catch it live.

A podcast is basically like a radio show, but recorded so people can listen any time. Podcasts usually have a short list of topics to cover in each, alongside a specific genre.
