Mine, hands down, is the Dark Templar from StarCraft 1 and 2.

I think my favorite video game characters ae ones that I can identify with. I like Squall Leonheart from Final Fantasy VIII as I see a lot of me in him. I also really like Luigi as he seems really underappreciated but despite his undershadowing by his older brother he is really quite popular. I don't have an older sibling, or any for that matter, but still big fan of The Green 'Stache.

I would probably say either Lara Croft or Link cause Link is just awesome and the N64 Ocarina of Time Link looked, well, kind of hot!

Andre Ryan from Bioshock, I really enjoyed the character for all his traits. The first time I played bioshock I hated him at the beginning then as I played along and discovered more of those audiotapes, I began to felt more sympathetic for him. It just seems that theres was a lot of character development.
