Chat is being Stupid

It keeps rewinding and removing the most recent line. Then half removing, then fixing. Others have said they've had the same problem happening.

Also the scroll on chat hasn't been working recently because of so many users in chat.

Oh yeah, the userlist scroll thing doesn't work anymore.

Cuffy: Stupid is much more serious than stupid. I was going to make it something like "Chat is being Stupid (not about the users)" but decided that was too crass.

Okay it's been doing it all day, but I have verified that it's a Chrome issue. Don't know if that helps any. Firefox works fine.

BUT CHROME IS A BETTER BROWSER DAMNIT

Grrrrr.... You guys win. I'll work on porting a new version of the chat over. You may not get /me support right away though. I'll have it up in the new two weeks.

Seriously though, I know this bug only came in recently, and it only seems to be that browser, but it's a really annoying one. I'm excited to try the new chat though, even if most of the features are missing at first

Firefox still doesn't let the scroll work sometimes.

Not like the /me command prevents us from having interactive conversations. Unless of course you're a /me spammer that likes to talk in 3rd person all the time.

My suggestion with chat would be to list all the names starting at the bottom working there way up (on the online box), instead of working there way down. When you go to chat private with someone the box opens up at the top of the online box instead of currently the bottom.

This would be benefittial for when people send a full line + message in chat.

At the present moment when this happens part of the message is behind the private message box. You then have to close this box and reopen it when have read message.

I understand with this that the same thing would happen with the top messages however you have usually read these when they get up there.

If you would like more information from what have been saying please dont hesitate to ask
