The beginning

I've been lurking here for a little while now (OK, so I've been posting a little, too) and I decided that I would make my presence a little more known and make a friend or two.
My life right now is pretty routine and I'm getting bored because it seems that nothing extraordinary seems to happen. I want to explore different areas of my life and push some boundaries. I figured that maybe some people here can help me do that.
