I remember hearing about a version of this around the time I started highschool. Rumor was that older kids would make grade 9s push pennies around the toilet seat with their nose a set amount of times, and if it fell in, you got a swirly and had to start over. I dont know anyone that actually had to do it, so I think it was probably lies to scare us.

That being said, I am going to try this tonight .....
