I lay in bed, thinking about all the regrets I had. I fell asleep and dreamed of a better place, where I would be accepted. My friends had cast me out when they discovered my secret.

"Lilac! Get up!" yelled my little sister, Violet, "Someone's at the door. They want to see you!"

I opened the door. A beautiful woman stood there. She looked familiar.
"Lilac, you recognize me?"
"Indigo? Is that you?"
"Yes. It is me, Indi. We will take the time to catch up later."

I woke up on a metal table. I was blindfolded. I felt a surge of panic rising inside of me...
