Yes of course you can save them up and spend them later.

Maybe another rule:
For every hour you make someone else (e.g. through pm dare, dare, etc.) wear a plug you get 2 min off.

I thought I chose a good time to try this but I was only able to keep it in for a little over 4 hours

If you could just be double-plugged for 12 hours... get 30 minutes off.

Maybe there should be a reward for posting an update... an incentive to check in daily...

say 15 minutes off if you post (limit 1 redemption per day)
add another 15 minutes if you're adding another rule, layer of routine, or modifying a suggestion to make it work.
