That’s a great question. I would say I was 31 before I felt really comfortable with my life. I had bought my first house after some very questionable living accommodations. My job was relatively secure and made me happy. I was dating someone seriously and discovering aspects of the BDSM lifestyle. Of course there were ups and downs but life started making sense.

I don’t think there is any way to generalize. Some men take forever to get their shit together, if they ever do. Others are capable of starting and supporting a family from a very young age. I guess it depends on the decisions that they make. In my mind, a boy becomes a man when he steps up and takes responsibilities for his actions.

I think the expectation to stay married is generational to some extent. My parents are still married, but there were large periods of time where they would have both been happier apart. As a kids growing up, that was hard to witness. Now that they are older, I’m glad that they have each other.

Unfortunately, you mature every time life deals you another blow. Loved ones get sick and die. Accidents happen. There are a few times I remember distinctly that the people around me were treating me differently. One was at my cousin’s wedding. I had never done edging before so that is a definite dislike. When I am doing it on my own I can give myself a pep talk so it isn't so bad. I just try to imagine pleasing my Master. Dark has never abused my trust so it's comforting rather than frightening that he knows so much about me. I don't need the threat of blackmail to submit. I submit to Dark because I want to please him.

I was going to say no but I think I have tried to be polite when in actuality I was upset. Whenever that happens, I take a step back and explain my feelings to him. He is very good at getting in my head so he usually knows what I'm thinking before I do.

The beautiful thing about space is there is so much of it out there. Past our universe are many, many more. We are just an insignificant speck.

I have had times when I thought this was strangely familiar. The most vivid memory was when I was really young (5-6) and I went to the planetarium. There was a show about Indians of Central and South America. I still remember crying when they talked about the conquistadors burning the Mayan codices.

Wow! You know how to come up with questions that make me think. This may take awhile.

Guess I'll take them in order. When I finally decided that I needed to take a chance if I ever wanted to experience life, I agreed to meet a man I met through a vanilla chat room.
