The silence are returning in the second half of season six. It was in doctor who insider. It is also confirmed that Amy is returning for season 7.

Probably not full-time. It sounds as though Amy and Rory will be back every now and again. Maybe the Doctor will pop in on them and check up on their family every now and again. It'd make sense after taunts like the Dream Lord gave; "you never revisit old companions" or words to that effect

In addition to been the worlds longest running Sci-Fi series Doctor Who is also the Biggest earner of all BBC productions. That's better than Eastenders!

Hahaha yeah, But the BBC puts a figure for Viewing figures instead and even then Doctor Who won! Pretty good with five episodes for near half a century against one that was weekly and had two big gaps...

Thing is, you don't want to over-expose too. So the break in the proms is a welcome change. Every other year or every few years would be great, and would mean there's more music to play.
