$125.76 to fill up

OMG! I hate hurricans. Today it cost me $125.76 to fill my car SUV with gas. Joy. I bought 20 gallons of gass. Which if you do the math, $6.28 a gallon! Ugh! Anyone else have this problem? What are the gass prices around you. I hope the gas prices goes down after the hurricane >.> (With the current price of oil, and including taxes, gass should be $3.25 a gallon, Fuck oil companys)

To be fair americans make it worse on themselves by driving huge freaking cars! At the age of 18-20 most people in the UK have a little 1.1litre -1.4 car, compared with what you guys drive in the states it doesnt use that much petrol!

But the prices wont go down by much. due to the oil crisis petrol rose ridiculously and to be fair it hasnt gone down nearly as much as it should have...

I dont know anything about gallons, but where i am its only 92 pence (nearly 2 dollars i suppose in the exchange) for a litre of petrol. 15 or so pounds will last me more than a week
