Typed to the wrong thread?

Okay I have a confession to make I've done this a couple of times, although either not pressed submit or quickly changed it after posting.

What I mean is thinking you're replying to one thread but it's something different, with the nature of my threads sometimes they can be quite similar.

So have you ever done this?

Not something I've done on here but it's a mistake I've made a few times while messaging people on Skype or texting. When ever I make that mistake, it's usually not noticed until it's read which depending on what the topic was about, it can end i n the feeling of embarrassment.

I've done it texting/messaging but very rarely. I do it loads on here.

It happened a few times before that I want to report a post but actually post the report message in the thread itself. And I see some people do this the other way around: posting their comment in the built-in report tool rather than the tread itself. But we are only humans, right? Only spam bots can do a better job of posting it right the first time because anywhere is fine.
