weird relationships
this isn't something that has happened to me but it has just came to my mind and am curious on the thoughts of getdare. Is it weird to date someone who is a step sister or has the chance to become such? example because I don't want people to think I mean someone who already is. I mean like say your 17 an age that you can go pick up a girlfriend yourself (or boyfriend), your dad and her mom meet after you two have been dating for a time on (insert dating site here) and she (the mom) says she wants to get the families to meet. You pull up and its your girlfriends house. now is it weird that you are dating the daughter whom if they get married would then be your step sister/ girlfriend or I'm not sure that's why I wonder what you think.

TL;TR - If you love each other, it doesn't matter.
In the situation that you described, you write that a boy and a girl are in a relationship first and that both their single parents meet each other and start dating as well. Then both the parents marry each other so the boy and girl become step-brother-sister. But before the parents will get married, a considerable amount of time will have passed during which the boy and girl most likely have fallen in love. By the time of the wedding day of the parents, I don't think that the boy and girl will feel awkward because they are both step-brother-sister and in love with each other. If you think about it, the boy and his dad have partially the similar interests of characteristics they look at when they meet new women. So if the boy's dad marries the mother of the girl who is already in a relationship with the boy, doesn't it confirm that both the dad and mom, and the boy and girl are a good match for each other? After all, the characteristics you look for in your partner are passed down to your offspring by DNA, right?
