So what were you going to be called if you had been born as the opposite gender?

If I had been born female I was going to be called Eleanor...apparently :P

I was supposedly called Fred while in the womb.

If I were female, I would have been called Toni or as a boy, Tony [mum's choice]

But Dad thought that Ben is a more suitable name.

Supposedly, when I was in my mom's tummy, they thought I was going to be a boy. As a boy, I was supposed to be called Alexander. My brother's middle name is Alexander however, and my mom opposed it. :P So, when my mother gave birth to me, and found out she had a girl, she named me Madelyne, after a little polite girl at church, hoping that I would resemble her. (never happened)

My dad was into solar themed names, and yes, I was almost one of the planets, my mom said she was considering Emily and Alena. I actually like the name Alena :P

To which my father responded in his baritone voice: "You can't see straight! That is a boys"

They knew I was a girl from the start, and my brother named me. So I didn't have a what if its a boy name.

BUT! they thought my brother was girl, and called him Taylor, until the day he was born. XD
