I’ve noticed so many people seem to have lots of rough days on here, so I’m trying to bring a little sunshine to their days!

The world is a beautiful place, like the ocean. Lovely, but deadly. Tread with caution, but enjoy every bit of it! You only have one life, make it count!

Also that happiness is a choice that I’m working hard to choose every day. Some days I’m not so good at it, but it takes constant practice to come into effect. Keep smiling!

On a day when I'm finding it very hard to think happy thoughts because I'm sick and behind on everything...


The world needs you.

Gosh that sounds so generic but it's so true, isn't it? The world needs me, and it needs you. Nobody is the same as you, go get 'em! You can do this. Because a world without you, is a little darker than it was while you were still in it. Think about how it will be for those who love you, how different life would be for them without you. I know for me that's a challenge-I just like to think they'd be better off-but I can't do that to myself. I have to think about what good I bring to the table. And a self-degrader would say not much. But I'm supposed to work on self-degradation, so I say that I bring some good, at least. I bring a smile. I bring my stupid jokes. I bring my passion for teaching children. Those are good things, right? So think about the good that YOU bring today. And please, go about you day with a smile! Even when it's hard.

Um how about this for today: today I was driving along this completely random backroad (100% normal, don't judge!), when I came across this stretch that was just stunning. On either side were trees that were arching over the road, so it looked like a tunnel, and there were tall yellow flowers (not sunflowers; I think these are some sort of weed) among the trees, and some tiny purple and pink flowers among the bottoms of the yellow ones. If I had to guess, I'd have said it was a fairy's passageway that I'd just discovered. It was ethereal.
