The application improvement drive

I'm sure you've all noticed that the applications are now rated with stars, it was because a few of the elite members got together to try to improve the quality of requests.

It was hoped it would do this because a higher stared request has been considered better and and so in turn would get more responses. This in turn would encourage people to write better requests.

And also a tip, read what other people have written, high stared ones especially, try to see where they've gone right and where you can use the ideas they have. But also you can look at lower stared requests and see where they've gone wrong.

Come on peeps lets try to make one line S/m and M/s applications a thing of the past!

I might also want to add here that this initiative was taken in order to help both posters & readers to find the best “match” possible as well as to improve this area of the site. The more specific you get about your likes, dislikes, expectations, limits & such will not only get your addy a good rating but will increase your chances to get good responses.
