I looked over my shoulder and my jaw dropped in fear. Stood behind Rachel were two people I utterly despised. And I'm certain that their feelings were mutual towards both me and Lisa. We'd had a rivalry and hatred towards each other since the start of university. Admittedly it was probably our fault that it had started but both sides had dealt equally as humiliating and painful blows to one another. I couldn't believe Rachel would leave us with them two, she had an equally strong rivalry with the group and I couldn't believe she would purposefully put us under their command.

Kimberly and Miranda were part of a rival society to the dare club and therefore automatically had a rivalry with every person in the opposite group. They were part of a secret bdsm society, just as we were part of a secret dare society. Each group always wanted to get the better of the other. Most members of each society were usually kept secret from the other except the committee, but since me and Lisa were on our committee and Kimberly and Miranda were on theirs we were massive targets for both groups.

Miranda was a large girl, and often compared to a horse by our group but the insult had no legs to stand on. Other than her weight, Miranda was an incredibly pretty woman. If she lost about 6 stone then almost every girl would be jealous of her, the beautiful face and amazing long brown hair. Kimberly on the other hand was completely the opposite. However despite the dispute between the societies making it necessary for us to have a rivalry, the one between us 4 (or even 7 if we included Lucy, Hannah and Emma) was much worse. If we were in the same society we might have been friends but we destroyed the chances of that in the first week of uni.

4 years earlier.......

We had almost finished initiation. The last few tasks we'd stormed through and only 1 task remained before we were in. But we all knew this task wasn't going to be easy. 'Anybody got any ideas?' Hannah asked lightly. We were all thinking hard.

'Well first, we need to find them.' I spoke up. 'That's going to be difficult on our own.' Rachel had told us where they hang out but we had to make sure we picked the correct person. 'You two heard from Lisa and Lucy yet?' We'd sent them out to spy on the area to try and gather information.

'Not yet.' Emma replied. 'They've only been gone an hour though, could be a while before we hear from them.' They seemed relaxed but there was still the doubt from everyone. It was a risk. What if they were caught? The societies hated each other, if they found some potential new dare club members spying on them, they wouldn't be happy.

Just as we were all contemplating in silence though Lisa and Lucy appeared around the corner. 'We've got everything we need. We found them near where Rachel told us they'd be. There was a group of about 20, apparently all the pledges, 11 bitches and 9 guys. We waited until they finished and then tailed two of the lasses.' Lisa was hyped up.

'We think one of them was called Kim.' Lucy took over. 'They took a different route back to all the others so they might be easier targets. One is a bit a larger though so might be harder to take.' We all nodded. 'They're meeting at 3 pm tomorrow in the same place.'

This rivalry wasn't modern though, it had been going on for years. Freshers period was always a chance for getting a one up on the opposition. The rivalry was so old that it actually had its own set of rules which were established as boundaries. No pictures or videos were allowed. Nothing permanent or long lasting. The list was massive but covered everything from kidnapping members to bondage rules to bets to personal attacks. We all wondered how this agreement was ever formed but every time someone new came onto the committee they had to sign it.

We were purely focused on the first one of that list now. 'So meet back here tomorrow at 2 then. And don't forget the supplies. I looked back down the piece of paper with the task on it.

We woke the next morning at 10 am and met the others in the kitchen. Everyone was silent. We all knew what was going to happen this afternoon but noone wanted to talk about it.

I looked over at the sofa. The supplies were all stacked up, masks, handcuffs, rope, gags and chloroform. I couldn't believe we were actually going to do this. It was illegal. I tried to imagine if I was on the other side of this, I'd be scared to death, the unknowing. Both societies members sign a form to allow this stuff, we'd already signed ours, but it still seemed insane. We all disappeared over the next few hours, it would be far too obvious if we turned up together. It also gave each person one last pressure free time to back out if they wished. Did I really want to go through with this. Could I really go through with this? I always wanted to be part of the club but was it actually worth it.

This was a crime, never mind all the signings and that there was no legal case against us. It was still a criminal act. I knew that everyone else would be thinking the exact same at this very moment. Who would actually turn up. At 1:45 I made my decision. I stood up and headed to the meeting place.

I wasn't the first one there but the one person there surprised me. It was Lucy. Lucy always seemed so shy, she was the person I actually expected to back out. I greeted her smiling and she returned my smile. They'd found a great place, It was behind a wall but the gap gave us a perfect view of where the BDSM society was meeting. It was now half past 2. The five of us had been scouting the area for half an hour and despite all the adrenaline and fear, boredom had actually managed to sneak in. The BDSM society were still talking and we were still waiting, anticipating and not talking. In the first 15 minutes we'd gone over the plan three times but now we all knew what we were doing and realistically alot of it would have to come to winging it.

We guessed the route they would take back but so many things could go wrong. They might not walk back together, they might leave with others, they might take fully public routes. All these would halt our plan dead. 10 more minutes of pure silence passed with us all alternating the spying of the group. We didn't want to make too much noise in case someone realized we were there.

'They're moving.' Lisa called out. We all quickly jumped up and ran to the gap. Sure enough they were all heading off and luckily for us the two girls were moving in the opposite direction to all the others. We slowly stalked around the building to get a better view of where they were heading. They seemed to be taking the exact route that Lucy had described yesterday.

Once the rest of the group was out of sight Lisa made the signal with her hand and we ran in different directions, ensuring that we didn't make too much noise. Me and Emma had taken the road to the right of the one the two girls had gone down, Hannah and Lucy had taken the one to the left. Lisa was following them. Emma and Hannah seemed the most scared so we'd given them the easiest job. Lisa was most likely to get caught and Me and Lucy would be the ones with the key task. 'There still following the same route, take a left on King's street' Emma called out behind me. We were speed walking as we thought running may be a bit loud. 'Left here then right straight away.' I darted down the alley to my right. I caught a quick glimpse of the two girls before quickly exiting into the alley. There was no way they could of seen me.

I sped up down this road as the plan would be put into action any minute. 'Cut left now Sarah.' I cut down the very small passage by the side of a boarded up house. 'OK, I'm heading up one block now as back up.' I waved goodbye to her. Everything so far had gone perfectly to plan. Emma went running off. I looked across the road and saw Lucy waiting in the same way as I was. Lisa would be waiting a block behind the two girls in case one managed to run that way. Emma was a block up for that escape and Hannah should now be approaching the top of the fire escape on the nearby tall building as a lookout.

I nodded across to Lucy who returned it. First signal confirmed. We were going through with it. 10 seconds later the two girls passed us. We both held up our empty hand to each other and simultaneously dropped one finger. 4....3 ....2....1.... We both stepped silently out of the alley and cut diagonally towards the center of the road. My heart was racing now. If either looked behind them now we'd have a chase on. I looked forward to see Emma hidden right giving the signal for all clear.

Simultaneously me and Lucy grabbed the girl now in front of us and before either could scream our hands darted around the front of them. Hannah had supplied the chloroform which she'd managed to take from the chemistry department. The bigger girl in front of me put up a bit of a fight and momentarily I was struggling to hold on before I felt her go limp. We moved the two girls sideways to the walls as Lisa came towards us.

'Hannah's still saying were clear, nobody in sight.' All of a sudden a car came flying towards the three of us stood in the street. 'And here comes Emma.' Emma was the only one of us who actually had a car. It stopped in front of us as me and Lucy finished cuffing the girl's hands behind their backs and feet together. We also placed a ball gag on both in case they woke up.

We opened the two back doors to the car, me and Lisa managed to put the larger girl in one side and Emma and Lucy quickly put in the second girl. This was it, we'd actually managed it. Hannah was still giving the all clear above and as we closed the car doors I got a mixture of emotions. Thrill of success, excitement of joining the club but mostly the shame of what I'd just done. I'd just knocked out a girl the same age as me, tied her up and thrown her in the back of the car.

Lucy jumped in the car with Emma and they were off heading in a roundabout direction to the club just so there was very little chance of tracking where we'd gone. Hannah came down to join me and Lisa and we all quickly skirted the area for a sign that we'd been there. One of the girls had dropped her mobile phone which we quickly picked up but otherwise there was no sign that anything had happened.

We quickly congratulated each other before heading to the bar for a well earned drink. We agreed where we were going to meet Lucy and Emma. After a couple of drinks they came in to join us. Lucy started talking. 'Rachel was really happy. Said we'd done a fantastic job and to meet at the club tonight at 9 for our acceptance into the society. Three people cheered, but not me and Emma. I think we felt what the others may have felt to a lesser level. Pure shame at what we'd just done.

We'd handed two girls over to a society that was obviously going to do something to them as members of a rival society. 'Sorry girls, I just keep thinking, how would I have felt if it was the other way round'

'Well, I think you'd feel unconscious right now.' Lisa joked. I let off a light smile. 'Really though I doubt they'll do anything horrendous. They may be rival societies but they are still both meant to be fun.'

'Well we'll see tonight, won't we?'
