I'm still pretty new to this site and just found out what that stuff means. I know I don't care about the title. I kinda just figured it had to do with the time you've been a member not the number of post. To me it's pointless to even care.

A message when people join will only encourage people to make it into some big competition and will result in crappy posts. This is probably a repeat of some of the other replies but I'm still posting it
