Miss Dare '09?

So I was talking on a thread a lil while ago.

And something came up that I thought would be kind of cool.

I don't know if this is against the rules or whatever.

But we should get a Miss Dare 2009 competition going on.

And the winner gets some kind of prize.

What you think?

Yeah it could be done, but i suggest doing it in two stages, first everyone sends an anonymous vote to someone, this someone would probably have to be getdare staff. Then the top 5 girls go to the next round of voting, then everyone votes again or does a poll and the girl with the most votes becomes Miss Dare '09', a permanent golden medal or a trophy that says "Miss Dare 09" on their page could be part of the award but im not really sure what else you could do.

Is there anyway we can get a GetDare staff to help us out with this? or at least approve it? I really think this could be a good idea.

I know I'm new and everything, and I'm sorry if it breaks the pics rule or whatever.

there is a few ways to get the staff to help out, probably the best way is get a few ideas on this thread and if a staff member hasn't posted yet then PM someone, i would probably PM Depp as i would say he would be then one to put this into action, send him a link to the page and see what he says. But i would wit till you have a few more people put ideas onto the page because if you put it to him to early he may think that you have nothing worthwhile yet.

I just had a really good idea, now as this is your thread jess i wish of you to approve this.

My idea.
So the start is the same as before, we elect someone to take votes from everyone and the top five girls go into round two.
I have changed round two, to become Miss Dare '09' you must be a dedicated good darer, so instead of people just voting on who they like better you are put through 4 rounds. Every round someone is eliminated till only one person is left. Now what do we put in the rounds, well it's not that hard if you think about it, this site is all about Truth or Dare, so the rounds could go like this.

Round 1: The dare giver
All the girls must write up their best dare, in full detail.
It would have to be a nice lengthy dare, with rules and punishments ect.
The dares would be sent to a senior member who would post them all up under is or her name and put a poll up, this would make it anonymous.
the poll would go for something like 48 hours then at the end the user who made the poll would state who got voted out and who is still in.

and all the rounds would go something like this.

Round 2: Bearer of truths
this round would be about making a truth that is descriptive and unique

Round 3: Descriptive writing
this round the remaining contenders would write a unique short story

After this there would be two girls left.

The Final Round would be a vote of, everyone puts their votes on the girl they want to win.

To make it more fair all rounds would be done the same way the first one was, they send their material to a senior member who posts it up everyone votes on their favorite piece of material and the person who wrote the worse piece doesn't proceed to the next round. I think this would be the easiest most fairest way to do it.

Would photos of the dares being done by senior members be needed? I would be keen to take a few snaps of myself doing the dares by the lovely ladies.

The dares would be put on public from a senior member, so everyone could do them the trick is you just don't know who's dares you are doing, but no pictures. But this is Jess's idea so it ultimately up to her not me.

We use to hand out awards but I believe we have decided not to do them anymore as they turn out to be bitching/popularity contests depending on who wins.
