4 Boys + Fun

Ok so I was in class the other day and I was thinking about something, that I shouldn't of been doing in class, a fantasy.

I'm not starting it off just yet, I want to think of the plot and so.
Unfortunately, this is fiction but I will be using non-fiction characters, and if you PM me, I'll send you pictures of the characters!

[Story is based in UK]
Here is the characters involved. (non-fic characters)

Name: Jordan
Age: 15
About: Skater boy attitude, type of kid that wears skinny trousers and has a nice body build. Has a really nice dark tan, and has a really cute face.
Skinny with a kind of muscular stomache. Has brown eyes and dark brown hair, not long but not short. Not as popular yet hot.

Name: Lewis
Age: 16
About: Just turned 16, very muscular and very popular in school. Has a 6pack and is light tanned. Fashionable and goes with the flow. Green eyes and long curly light brown hair

Name: Samuel
Age: 15
About: Football loving boy, who plays basketball also. Considered ok in popularity. A tad fat face, and a fat body build but is still cute considering he's fat. Blue eyes and wears fashionable clothes. Not tanned but still fit.

Name:Finley
Age: 14
About: BMX boy, naturally tanned with brown eyes, and brown spikey hair. Popular with the girls, and quite muscular. Wears fashionable clothes like the rest.

Please can you suggest how you'd like me to write this, for example, first person or third person ...

I'm going to say...

Since it seems that you are not one of them. Go with third person or just be whomever you wish. Your story. Do what you want.

Also.

Always build relationships in a story. The first chapter doesn't have to be all about nudity or sex. Make us fall in love with one, hate one, and wonder about one. That is key.

Just my 2 cents.

^I second that. Build up the story line for the first few chapters. Don't actually start getting into the action right away. If you make the readers wait, then they'll be more likely to keep reading. Hope this helps.

Yeah this was what I was going to do in the first place. I am quite detirmined about this.
I am quite annoyed about recieving an infraction about PMing you pictures of the character, even though it didn't actually post them publically.

I'm in the proccess of gathering loads of [Non pictures] for people in PM's :P

i agree with you guys. It should be in the third person, but do what you are comfortable with.

Third person is easiest for moving from scene to scene. If you use first person, you have to be in every scene and it limits your scope.

The only criticism is something I see all the time on here. Ditch the cast list at the start and put your descriptions into the story. It is annoying to have to keep scroilling up to see which character is the tallest or which one has blue eyes etc.

Most character descriptions are not necessary, in any case.

Other than that, go for it
